CUNAIFORM BOARD

Classical Sargonian times, 2250-2200 B.C.

This board registers the grain allocation for twenty-three persons by their names.
The board is not dated but for paleographic aspects is from the classic late Argonic age and might come from the town of Adab. Only one name is Semitic (Accadian), the others are Sumerian. The measuring unit for grain here is the gur = kor.
